Responsibilities
  • Perform functional safety assessments of system and software level work products across the whole ISO 26262:2018 V-model including but not limited to: plans, safety analyses, requirements, architecture, unit design, coding, unit testing, integration testing, SW verification. 
  • Coach closely our customers on how to develop and approve safety critical products at system, hardware and software level.
  • Apply your technical and soft skills in different roles on a case-by-case basis, as a technical consultant, safety engineer, process developer, moderator and coach.
Required Qualifications
  • Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Maths or a similar technical field.
  • Several years of professional experience working with software or hardware development for embedded system.
  • Several years of professional experience as a safety manager, safety analyst or similar roles in the automotive industry. 
  • Professional experience performing internal or external assessments for functional safety processes from automotive manufacturers or Tier suppliers.
  • Professional experience in the field of ADAS and automated driving solutions is a plus.
  • Professional experience in consulting, coaching, presenting, and defending topics such as: processes, methods, technical solutions, analyses, etc. to clients in English.
  • Good knowledge of safety methods: HARA, FTA, FME(D)A, DFA, STPA etc.
  • Good knowledge of ISO 26262.
  • Knowledge about ISO 21448 (SOTIF) and ISO 21434 (Cybersecurity) is a plus.
  • Fluent in English (Business level). Knowledge of German (C1) is a plus.
